Stakeholder Letter Urging CMS to Permanently Address Provider Location Reporting

Over 110 stakeholders requested that CMS make permanent the extension of the COVID-19 flexibility, currently set to expire at the end of CY2023, that allows providers who rendered telehealth services from their homes to list their practice address instead of their home address within box 32 of the CMS 1500 form. Additionally, the letter requests that CMS allow virtual-only providers to list a geographic indicator such as zip code instead of their full address.
