Antibiotic stewardship has been a longstanding issue in healthcare, yet recent news coverage has implied that Antibiotic Stewardship Program (ASP) compliance has worsened with direct to consumer (DTC) platforms. ATA’s antibiotic stewardship initiative will work to disprove this assertion by studying results at different points of contact (e.g. urgent care, ER, primary care) within the same system to see how telehealth performs in comparison with face-to-face care when it comes to ASP compliance.

This initiative will be run out of ATA’s Center for Applied Research in Telehealth (CART).
