TeleRehabilitation SIG

‘Telerehabilitation and Older Adults: Updates, Challenges & Opportunities’ – ATA members are invited to join Tammy Richmond, former chair of the ATA Telerehab SIG and now co-chair of the Telehealth Task Force at ACRM and policy advisor to the ATA Telerehab SIG.  We have a special guest speaker who will be presenting on Telerehab and Older Adults from her research in older adults during the pandemic.  And then updates on the current federal legislation with the PHE and the extension of telehealth for use in OT/PT/SLP/Aud.

The TeleRehabilitation Special Interest Group (SIG) works to enhance access to rehabilitation services through the use of telehealth technologies and to be a catalyst for telehealth adoption and innovation, helping bring to light emerging technologies and highlighting best practices that support telehealth service delivery, and explore opportunities for clinical, research and educational inter-professional collaboration.
