TeleICU and Acute Care SIG

On Wednesday, February 16, Brandi Bryan, Director of Critical Care and Emergency Medicine, AdventHealth will present to the TeleICU/Acute Care SIG on the “Buy or Build: Setting Up a TeleICU”. Brandi will provide insights how AdventHealth addressed the buy-vs-build question, how they measure success, and how they reevaluate this strategic decision on an on-going basis.

The TeleICU/Acute Care SIG provides a stabilizing influence for organizational concepts and directions to be established and maintained with a visionary view for the TeleICU/Acute Care environment. Discussion topics may include advancing state and federal reimbursement, collecting and reporting quality metrics to validate improved outcomes, discussing and implementing evidence based standards, and transparently sharing information with committee members.
