Async Telehealth SIG

Asynchronous telehealth allows patients and providers to communicate and exchange important health information when it is convenient for them, otherwise not in “real time”. Moving forward, hybrid care will be the new normal and we work to implement rules and regulations at the state and federal levels that will allow for asynchronous telehealth to be advanced to meet patients where they are, addressing digital barriers to access, helping patients to overcomes shame and stigma, and relieving provider burnout and burdens.
