Virtual nursing is providing a new career path for experienced nurses to utilize their  expertise to support patients, their families and the bedside care team. This team care model is providing a terrific opportunity for experienced and knowledgeable caregivers, but leading a team in a virtual role can bring new challenges. The team at CommonSpirit Health will provide an overview of the journey of transitioning from bedside to virtual nursing.

The Acute Care and TeleICU SIG provides a vehicle by which to develop and pursue a visionary view of acute care and tele-critical care delivery and to share organizational and operational experiences among ATA members.
