Ngoc-Anh Nguyen, MD, serves as the Medical Director for the Virtual Urgent Care & Telemedicine department at Houston Methodist Hospital. Outside of telemedicine, Dr. Nguyen is also a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician with 10 years of experience and is involved in multiple research projects within the Houston Methodist Innovation Center. Dr. Nguyen received an undergraduate degree from Rice University, a medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, and completed residency at the Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s Roosevelt program in New York City. Dr. Nguyen is passionate about using telemedicine and technology to decrease costs and improve access for patients, and to enhance communication between service lines and specialty medical organizations
