Marc Adelson, J.D., serves as General Counsel for Curai Health. Adelson’s legal, health care, and compliance career spans more than 25 years. He most recently served as Deputy Chief Legal Officer and Global Chief Compliance Officer at Teladoc Health.

While at Teladoc, Adelson co-founded the Institute for Patient Safety & Quality in Virtual Care, a component Patient Safety Organization of Teladoc designed to study and implement quality-forward initiatives. He also directed a multinational team overseeing legal, privacy, compliance, and risk management functions. During his time there, he served as Chief Privacy Officer and Vice President, Corporate Counsel, where he focused on HIPAA compliance and corporate training initiatives.

Before Teladoc, Adelson worked with insurers, including Centre Solutions (a subsidiary of Zurich Financial Services) and Oxford Health Plans.

Marc previously served on the Board of Directors for Skylight Health Group, a multi-state health network. He is a member of the New York State Bar. Marc has a J.D. from Lewis and Clark College, The Northwestern School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lafayette College.
