Dr. Eric Weil is a national leader in population health and primary care. He has held clinical leadership roles across large health systems, community hospitals, academic medical centers, and health care technology. He currently serves as Chief Medical Officer of MDLIVE by Evernorth and Chairman of the MDLIVE Medical Group Executive Committee.

In his role, Dr. Weil is re-envisioning primary care to be more simple, personalized, and accessible through digital, virtual-led hybrid care solutions. He is also responsible for ensuring MDLIVE continues to deliver the highest level of clinical quality and patient safety and satisfaction for more than 62 million people who have MDLIVE virtual care services available as a covered benefit through their health plan.

Dr. Weil is board-certified in internal medicine and has published several medical studies. He earned his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed his residency at Harvard Medical School.
