AMERICAN TELEMEDICINE ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES NEW LEADERSHIP COUNCIL CONVENING SENIOR-LEVEL EXECUTIVES FROM MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS

WASHINGTON, DC, JULY 11, 2024 – The American Telemedicine Association (ATA) today announced it has established a new Leadership Council, convening senior-level executives from top-tier member organizations, to facilitate collaborative problem-solving and expedite practical solutions to today’s healthcare challenges.

“The ATA is focused on creating the right platforms and convenings for our members, to collectively identify and address critical issues facing our broader community, network with peers and to support and inform the work of the ATA,” said Ann Mond Johnson, CEO of the ATA. “Our new Leadership Council brings together executive-level representatives from leading organizations driving healthcare transformation, harnessing their important perspectives and expertise to advance the way care is delivered.”

“Telemedicine supports an integrated, omnichannel approach to care by enabling access, quality, simplicity, lower cost, and connections between providers,” said Dr. Sree Chaguturu, Executive Vice President and CMO, CVS Health, and ATA board chair. “This group of leaders will help grapple with the challenges facing virtual care and develop thoughtful, collaborative solutions for our community.”
