Telehealth Across a Woman’s Lifespan
Round Table Discussion
April 14, 2019 | 1:45 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. CDT
Women are often considered the Chief Medical Officer of the home, and thus may be the key for patient engagement and optimal patient experience, providing unique opportunities for telehealth. Panelists will address how telehealth can be applicable across women’s life course, across specialties and integrated across the delivery system. They will discuss best practices and include information about how women use health care today, how this translates to telehealth and how women will continue to use healthcare in the future, making women’s health not just an option, but an imperative when expanding service delivery models of care including telehealth.
Speakers:
- Emily Stewart, Vice President of Public Policy, Planned Parenthood Federation of America
- Laurie Zephyrin, MD, Vice President Health Care System Delivery Reform, The Commonwealth Fund
