Dr. Mahajan is the Senior Vice President, Health Innovation for UPMC Health, and Chairman & Endowed Professor, Department of Anesthesiology, Bioengineering and Biomedical Informatics at the University of Pittsburgh. He is recognized internationally for driving innovative strategies in clinical medicine, health technology, and value-based care Dr. Mahajan is an inventor, founder, and investor in digital health, bringing high-impact solutions to market.

Dr. Mahajan received his medical specialty training in anesthesiology and PhD in physiology at UCLA. He is program director/primary investigator on multiple NIH grants for his research in developing translational technologies and has over 250 publications.
