Medical Director Virtual Health, Corewell Health




Dr. Khan serves as the Medical Director for Virtual Health and Virtual ICU at Corewell Health. He provides clinical leadership and oversight to the development and implementation of virtual health strategy at Corewell Health. He is responsible for leading virtual health initiatives, ensuring the highest quality care is provided to patients through virtual platforms. He collaborates across the organization and with industry partners to develop and implement strategies that leverage technology to enhance patient experience, improve access to care, and drive better health outcomes. Dr. Khan’s deep understanding of telemedicine, digital health solutions and patient centered care play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery at Corewell health.
In his role as the medical director for the virtual ICU he also led the development of a robust virtual ICU program and continues to drive expansion and innovation in that space.
Dr. Khan is a board certified Pulmonary and Critical Care physician and has been at Corewell Health for 6 years. Dr. Khan completed his Internal Medicine residency at Spectrum Health/MSU, MI where he was also Chief Resident and completed his Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship from Albany Medical College, NY.
