Jeff Carr is the Vice President of Operations and Virtual Services for Houston Methodist. In this role he has local and system responsibility for Laboratory, Pharmacy, Radiology and Virtual Operations. Jeff has more than 20 years of experience in health care, working on both the hospital and physician practice side. Prior to joining Houston Methodist, he spent several years working at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Houston.

Jeff joined Houston Methodist in 2005 and has since assumed progressive management responsibility throughout the system. Jeff spent ten years as the Chief Financial Officer over the Houston Methodist Physician Organization where he was responsible for establishing and overseeing an annual operating budget of $750M that supports the needs of seven system hospitals. In addition to managing the organization’s finances, Jeff also managed the physician compensation plan and real estate portfolio. Jeff then took on the role of Vice President of Operations and Strategic Initiatives over ambulatory services. Over his time with the Physician Organization, he facilitated the growth of the organization from 250 physicians to 1,600 physicians.
